July 9 (UPI) -- Lionel Messi's Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez joined him this weekend on his honeymoon with Antonella Roccuzzo.
Messi and Roccuzzo were married last week in a lavish ceremony at the City Center in Rosario, Santa Fe in Argentina. Suarez and a slew of other soccer stars attended the ceremony.
The newlyweds met as children in Argentina and have two sons.
Four-year-old Thiago and one-year-old Mateo are also along for the tropical trip in the Caribbean.
Roccuzzo has posted several pictures from the vacation, which she calls a "family honeymoon."
"Life is the most beautiful gift he gave us," Roccuzzo wrote on another Instagram post. "All for you, beautiful. Eternal love."
Messi and Suarez each shared photos of the group on Saturday, including three children. Suarez brought along wife Sofia Balbi and his daughter Delfina and son Benjamin.
"Surprise visit," Messi wrote on a social media caption.
"Thank you for the visit," Suarez wrote on social media. "We had a great one."
Barcelona recently agreed to a contract extension with Messi through 2021.
